At the Queen Rania Foundation, we see our role as solving for impact in Education, but we recognise that we can’t do this alone. We need a vibrant ecosystem of education entrepreneurs, one that collectively pushes the wheel of education reform.
For this reason, we are running a competition to recognise the achievements and potential of the ‘home-grown’ education businesses in the Arab World who combine social impact with sustainable business models. The winners will be announced by Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan.
We have $200,000 to award in the form of grants, to help the winners accelerate their growth plans.

The assessment criteria that we will use are set out here. An initial screening of your application to make sure it fits our eligibility criteria, and to assess its overall potential, will be made by a team at the Queen Rania Foundation. Applications that make it through the initial screening will then be scored by our assessment panel.
We received 800 great applications from all over the MENA region. All applications were reviewed by a team of experts based on the specified criteria and the highest scoring applications were chosen for the next round.
